WHERE TO LEARN
If you are a school student or teacher, best thing to do is convince your school to get a circus skills teacher out for some workshops. That way, you can start up your own circus group at school! A good starting point for W.A schools is Suitcase Circus. They are specialists in Circus-In-Education and know their stuff!
Suitcase Circus, the original circus-in-education program. This unique program offers inspiring shows, workshops & performing arts / physical education courses.
Fremantle, W.A (General circus skills, acrobatics and aerial skills for children and adults)
Bentley and North Perth, W.A (General circus skills, acrobatics and aerial skills for children and adults) CLOWNING / PHYSICAL THEATRE
The Annie Stainer School of Physical Theatre Where else can you ride a one wheel bicycle, sing an aria, stand on your head, swing on a trapeze, wear a red nose, beat on a drum, recite Shakespeare, tap dance on a table, juggle plates AND learn to relax? (clowning/physical theatre)
